Beautiful snowfall overnight and Big Storm Coming!
Spent most of the overnight and morning hours following and recording the 4-6 inches of snow that fell in upper Montgomery County, Maryland. This snow was a somewhat wet and really stuck to the trees making for one of the most beautiful snow conditions, visually, in a long while.

I headed out around 12am this morning just as the snow started to taper off. I thought I would get some night shots of the snow. I also noticed right away how the snow was sticking to the trees and didn’t want to miss capturing that affect. I spent much of the night just runing around spot to spot taking just a few pictures, and also enjoying the wonderful sight. However, it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I was limited to short range video because the lack of light in the country side were I was mostly, and the low visibility even after the snow stopped.

I spent a lot of time also trying to get various local media outlets to pick-up the stream, or purchase video, but no go this time. Hoping for a better chance this weekend (see below). As the morning came around and the sun rose I shifted gears and went after the photographs I wanted.
