Stormtrack…really that bad?

Friday, August 27th, 2010 at 12:27am EDT
The new trend….bash stormtrack.org
While I certainly understand those who wish to no longer participate in some forums, it seems rather unreasonable as of late for folks to bash certain forums too. In particular it is www.stormtrack.org. The site has suffered a number of bouts with unneeded and ridiculous drama [...]

Busy time, technical glitch here.

Monday, May 3rd, 2010 at 11:19pm EDT
I’ve missed quite a few days blogging, here’s why:
Lots of good days to blog about, but unfortunately either a virus or some other hick-up was slamming my website hosting account. There is a possibility it was being done remotely somehow through my PC, as the IP was showing my [...]

Well, I saw a tornado today…in Baltimore no less.

Thursday, April 15th, 2010 at 11:50pm EDT
Today….I saw a tornado. But I don’t think this one will make the SPC reports and is likely rated an EF negative 1 (EF -1).

OK, it’s April…no sign of good storms yet.

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010 at 10:48pm EDT
While I’m not going to complain, I will make the following observation:

Storms have passed, temperatures dropping

Thursday, April 8th, 2010 at 10:52pm EDT
Well, the long string of warms days are done…for now.
I haven’t been spending too much time in the home office since I have been taking full advantage of the absolutely exquisitely warm weather and sunny skies. For all but maybe a few hours here and there, we’ve had [...]

Warm weather back: time for some outside fun.

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 at 11:48pm EDT
Almost no rain today…warm weather tomorrow and into the weekend.
Starting tomorrow, I’ll be taking advantage of the increasing warmer weather. Tomorrow I’ll be trying for the first time geocaching while streaming live video. This is a test run, with the Laptop stored away where I cannot monitor [...]

Rains return to DC

March 25th, 2010 at 11:46pm EDT
A soggy night in store.
Temperatures are dropping fast, from highs in the 60s today to overnight lows in the 30s. Lots of rain, even a possible snow flake in there (no accumulation). It’s been a rather big tease with the warm weather as of late, and now we [...]

All kinds of updates

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 at 11:44pm EDT
A few things to update everyone on
The first update is that I’m back home from my trip to south Florida and the Florida Keys for the hurricane chaser gathering. It was great to be back in Florida and to see folks I have not seen for quite a [...]

Of course this would happen:

Monday, March 22nd at 6:21 EDT
It never fails. And I’m sure the “Foster Affect” will occur later in the week.
