Being out in the cold in never
someone's favorite thing to do, but having snow on the ground, fresh
snow, and with more falling, it sure does take away any
displeasure. I'm lightly dressed here as the temperature is just
barely low enough for the snow to be falling. That's typical in
the DC region. Always Ia fine line between whether it will snow,
sleet or rain.

There was a lot of activity for me
that snowy day. The first set of pictures was taken in the
morning, when the snow was falling, and it was only about 4 inches (in
the Gaithersburg area). Later I ventured south toward
Kensington. I stopped and got some pictures in the Rock Creek
Park, which were tough in that light.

 |
Then later I went to The
Morman Temple....where the annual light display was looking absolutely
amazing in the snow.

 |
Then for one last adventure I went Geocaching in
the dark, in the snow. It was extremely cold, and
the snow was starting to really pile up. About the time of this
photo, it must have around 8 to 10 inches.
