This photos were taken on Kent Island along US Rt. 50. In one of the pictures, you can see the Kend Narrows Bridge. I followed this late summer storm from the DC area, across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and onto Kent Island. The older Draw Bridge is good for taking pictures on the shoulder. Although this was done prior to 2001 so new security regulations my prevent additional photos from there. The second location, which I have returned to many times (with little success) is the Qualtiy Inn Hotel just off the south side of the highway. It is about four stories high, and has to be walked up by stairs. Not easy with lots of camera gear. However, the view from the balconies provides for good vistas and cameras shots....except for overhead cloud-to-cloud shots, due to the roof and roof overhangs.
